Summer Camps!!

I will be offering Summer Camps this year during the five Tuesdays in June at the Sioux Center Public Library! I am excited about the themes, that all offer a great variety of summer-inspired music. We will also do crafts, which your children will love! Kindermusik camps are only 5 lessons long, making it a great way to "try out" Kindermusik and see what it is all about! For Babies – Newborn to 18 Months with Caregiver - Peekaboo, I Love You!
Tuesdays 9:00 – 9:45 AM
Uncover more ways to bond with your baby, teach her new words, and say “I Love You” using bubbles, American Sign Language, and parent-baby dances. Connect with other newborns and families in the community and learn how music improves your child’s development process. We will be doing many summery songs that will remind you of going to the park, on a picnic, to the beach, or a family gathering. There are many fun, familiar children’s songs on this CD including Eensy, Weensie Spider, Love Somebody, The Wheels on the Bus, Are You Sleeping, and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, as well as instrumental classical and jazz favorites both you and your baby will love.
Cost: $30 Tuition plus $35 Take Home Materials - CD with music from class, Peekaboo, I Love You Board Book, Gertie Ball, Ducky Bath Mitt, Activity Poster, and Arts & Crafts Materials.


For Toddlers – 18 Months – 3 ½ Years with Caregiver - ZOO TRAIN!
Tuesdays 10:00-10:45 AM or 5:30 – 6:15 PM or 6:30-7:15 PM
Your toddler and the train make a natural match – always on the move! Using music and movement activities created just for toddlers, we will sing about and move like the zoo train and many animals from the zoo: kangaroos, giraffes, zebras, elephants, seals, kookaburras, lions, monkeys, and more! Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws. Sing songs for clapping time and use music to help regulate your toddler’s emotions. We will have a lot of fun in class with parachute play, prop play, instrument exploration, read stories, dance, creative movement, and rocking.
Cost: $30 Tuition plus $35 Take Home Materials - CD with music from class, Activity Poster, Hard Cover Zoo Train Book, Animal Shaker Instrument, and Arts & Crafts Materials.

Confetti Days!
Preschoolers – 3 and 4 year olds – Caregiver/Siblings attend last 15 minutes.
Tuesdays 11:00-12:00 AM or 4:15-5:15 PM
Young Children – Adapted for 5 and 6 year olds – Caregiver/Siblings attend last 15 minutes. Tuesdays 12:15 – 1:15 PM
This fun summer theme plays on the summer fun you have at parades, fairs, and the circus! We will throw a “Party” every day, ride a carousel, act like clowns, play a balancing game, and walk on the web of ropes. We will learn colors and sing the Spanish song “De Colores”. We will do a fun musical move and freeze, play circle games with the parachute, and explore many musical instruments.
Cost: $30 Tuition plus $35 Take Home Materials – CD with music from class, Activity Poster, Story Props, Confetti Bells, and Arts & Crafts Materials.

It is time once again to register for Spring Kindermusik classes! Give the gift of together time, music, and learning this Christmas! The Spring Themes:
Village (0-18 Months) - Hickory Dickory Tickle and Bounce - lots of great classic and new nursery rhymes and Rhythm of My Day - songs and sign language to sing throughout the day at home.
Our Time (18 Months - 3 1/2 Years) - Fiddle Dee Dee - A super fun animal theme that also features stringed instruments.
Imagine That! (3 - 5 Years) - Cities! Busy Places Friendly Faces - Features many things in cities, vacations, and great jazzy music!
